More Unease About Vaccinations

Many parents still have doubts about vaccines’ safety, according to a study in Monday’s Pediatrics. While 13% of parents currently skip or delay their children’s immunizations,  28% believe that an alternate schedule (spacing out vaccines to avoid several shots at once) is best, which has health officials alarmed since infectious diseases like whooping cough are making a comeback.  Asking doctors to spend more time answering patients’ concerns is stressed.  Read the advised immunization schedule for children 0-6 years old.
