Here’s a great holiday recipe for rice krispy treat wreaths…
Melt 1/2 stick butter in a microwave safe bowl (no plastic, only glass)
Add 1 package mini marshmallows and mix- reheat to melt marshmallows completely
Add green food coloring until you get the wreath color you’d like
Add 8 cups rice crispy cereal and fold until cereal is well coated
The hardest part of the recipe- because it’s so sticky-Use a spoon to drop mounds of batter on to wax paper. Flatten and scoop out a hole in the middle. I use a toothpick to hollow out the center.
Have the kids place red cinnamon candies for holly berries.
