Indiana Supreme Court Upholds Life Sentence for Teen Killer

Andrew Conley was 17 in 2009 when he choked, strangled, and beat his 10-year-old brother to death.  He then left his brother’s body in the trunk while he visited his girlfriend’s house to give her a promise ring.  Conley later admitted that he’d calculated the murder so he could be like the sociopathic character, Dexter, on television.  Teen or not, I think the Indiana Supreme Court has made the right choice upholding Conley’s life without parole sentence.  Read more
