Global photos of “Where Children Sleep” underscore economic divide

Reminiscent of the popular “Day in the Life” photo journal series of the 1980s, where people were photographed on the exact same day around the world, documentary photographer  James Mollison recently captured more than 200 global  photos of  Where Children Sleep, poignantly reminding viewers of the vastly different economic circumstances children are born into.

Recruited by the charitable organization Save the Children, Mollison was asked to come up with an idea to get people thinking about the rights of children around the world.  See some of the photos and read more
