    My fitness goal is to be able to build enough endurance to climb El Capitain in the next year. When I was younger I was never a very athletic person, and I tended to keep to myself. When I went to college I discovered rock climbing and something just clicked with me. Being able to climb El Capitain would be a landmark achievement and really solidify my goals and transformation I’ve been straining to achieve.

  3. My fitness goals for 2012 is to complete 3 marathons, running for Team in Training and raising 5k+ for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I’m running to make a difference in the lives for those who can’t.

    I would like to win this for me because, never being heavy, I now have 25 pounds to get rid of. It’s around my tummy and that’s a heart thing, plus, in light of my Mother having had congestive heart failure, I want to do everything to prevent that. I had just looked the Garmin up; the hospital recommended it.

    HOWEVER, I want to win it for a friend who has much the same problem. I think this would motivate her even more; in particular, since she might have another maybe medical issue. She’s been through cancer and survived and wants to continue on that healthy trail!
