I took this picture this weekend while our family hiked through the Redwood National Forest.

Seeing my 10-year-old son inside one of the giant redwoods shows just how magnificent they truly are (Pictures still don’t do them justice!) Did you know giant redwoods can live on average several hundred years, but can live as long as 2,000?! I can’t wait to see your pictures too!

This contest will close this Thursday night (9/6) at 9pm Pacific.  The winner will be notified and the gift card will be sent anywhere in the U.S.

My favorite memory is visiting my Dad in South Carolina with my two sons. We did so many things, we went fishing, shrimping, swimming, played pool, billards, went to a comedy show, to the movies, went on a dolphin cruise and went on nature walks. We really had a wonderful time.
    Thanks so much.

  2. That sounds wonderful, Margaret! Thanks for sharing :)\

Not my FAVORITE summer memory at all, but the one that won’t leave my mind is my 14 year old having her leg broken in a soccer game, spending 5 days in the hospital, having surgery to have a rod put in, and spending the majority of the summer stuck on the couch. It was a long summer.
